Deadline:Aphelion E.A. 1.2 Update
Core powers implemented:
Heavy core now has the shield power. The shield will allow the player to take a single hit without taking damage. The shield will not charge when active, so you will have to take a hit before recharging starts.
Standard core now has the Dash power. The dash is a short range quick boost. Dash has the lowest delay between use and charging, as it will start recharging right after use of the dash.
Fast Core has the speed boost power. The speed boost lasts 2 seconds, increasing move speed by 1.5 times normal speed. Recharge starts once the boost ends.
New intro video:
A new intro video has been added, showing the Merlyn games logo.
A “Gamepad Recommended" screen is now shown. Although the game is playable with mouse and keyboard, it is much smoother with a gamepad. The Godot input system is set to Generic game pad settings so any standard gamepad should be compatible.
UI changes:
Health for both the player and facility is now shown as a value rather than a percentage.
Core charge meter is now fully implemented in the HUD. filling up to show the charge delay.

I do want to apologize for any delays as I am a solo developer. I did also just start a new full time job (to pay my bills) but I am fully committed to continuing work on this project!
