addedxx_flybynight_xx's mission now awards a new ability; Air Strike. Place down flares to obliterate everything in between!
addedAdded new ability: The Coin. Since Snipe Hunt changed Vocations, a new ability was introduced to fill the gap. This ability is dumb and silly.
addedReworked the Lilypads mission. This mission was the second I ever made for DDS, and its age / simplicity was definitely starting to show. The mission has some new walls and doors, and a reworked computer network.
changedThe Out of Bound passive drawback has been changed. This ability was very fun but also the most busted thing in the game. The previous downside was a annoying when it mattered and non-existent when it didn't. Out of Bound makes hops require data AND ego, still allowing you to hack wherever you want, but forcing you to consider your hops much more carefully. Lemme know what you think of this change!
addedYou now get all the secret chiplets for skipping the intro and tutorial. (I added this a few updates ago but I think I forgot to include it in the notes oopsie)

This update is only available on windows right now.

Notes in no particular order.

  • xx_flybynight_xx's mission now awards a new ability; Air Strike. Place down flares to obliterate everything in between!

  • The Snipe Hunt ability which was secretly unlockable through this mission now belongs to the hidden Support Vocation along with Air Strike.

  • You now get all the secret chiplets for skipping the intro and tutorial. (I added this a few updates ago but I think I forgot to include it in the notes oopsie)

  • The Martial Art Vulture skill now only works on hostile units. It was a little too easy to engage in degenerate play when this worked on the very vultures it summoned.

  • Your initial skeleton and grenade now appear in the armory at the start of a playthrough.

  • Mousing over skills and perks now allows you to preview them in the UI.

  • Adjusted the height of perk and skill buttons so that the Vocation image is displayed next to each. Hopefully this makes things easier for color blind individuals.

  • Fixed an issue with the Coffee level's background shader.

  • Adjusted colors for the Bath House level so things pop a bit more.

  • Perk text is now left justified to look a bit cleaner than before.

  • Fixed a bug causing Beam guns to land on fractional projectile counts and expend all ammo per shot.

  • Fixed some code causing hack lines to jitter a bit on moving targets.

  • Made minor adjustments to the networks of several levels.

  • Fixed typos.
