DeadCore changes
Steam Next Fest is starting today and we wanted to let you know that DeadCore Redux will be there with an updated demo! Thanks to your feedback - big up to Plasmawario, Reherc Fox and neon-nn7lr for their detailed input! - we worked on a few quality of life improvements to make the demo even better.
It’s still work in progress and most of the following changes will probably evolve until the final version but here is a quick changelog of this new demo:
Features
Tweaked Turrets colors when switching states
Added shortcut (remappable - on hold) to restart a level
Menus / UI
New title screen and overall menus structure / wording (ex.: “Story” -> “Cycle”)
New (WiP) tutorial pop-ups videos at the end of Level01 to introduce Dash and Sparks
Added audio + VFX to Rank screen
New ranks wording based on game’s lore: Novice < Apprentice < Runner < Transmitter < Forerunner
- BugFixfixed typos in Settings, Boosts, and Whispers
- BugFixfixed controls mapping not saved + several small bugs

Better audio mix
Added an option to boost master volume
