What changed
- Performance
- Gameplay
Following our original reveal, we have rolled out a small update focused on bug fixes, performance optimisations, and general polish as development continues. Nothing flashy. Just tightening the screws and making sure each return to the loop feels smoother and more relentless than the last.
If you are new to Dead Reset, now is a good time to descend. The game is currently 35% off for a limited time.
Also launching very soon from the team at Wales Interactive…
If you missed it, Heart of the Forest is set to launch on 12 February 2026. Developed by Germany-based indie studio Trapped Predator, this interactive psychological horror plunges a group of students into the depths of the Black Forest, where folklore, trauma, and a vengeful spirit collide. Wishlist the game now on Steam and watch the reveal trailer to prepare for a haunting journey shaped entirely by your choices.
Death Is Inevitable
Trapped in a terrifying death-loop, surgeon Cole Mason is abducted and taken to an underwater facility, forced to operate on a patient harbouring an evolving parasitic horror. Each death brings new knowledge, new perspectives, and unsettling truths.
Embrace the Horror
Experience a blood-soaked, interactive sci-fi horror brought to life with cinematic scares, gruesome practical effects, and high-stakes, choice-driven gameplay.
Choices Matter
Guide Cole toward Redemption or Damnation as your morality is tested under extreme pressure. Your decisions shape relationships, unlock new paths, and lead to four wildly different endings.
Pause the Terror
Streamer Mode removes time pressure from choices, allowing audiences to guide decisions and savour every horrifying outcome.
Who Do You Trust?
Build or fracture alliances with other characters. Trust is tracked in-game, and not everyone is guaranteed to survive the loop.
A Word from the Director
“Dead Reset was designed to get under the skin of the player, delivering relentless scares through gruesome practical effects and a time-bending descent into terror. Each death is part of the story, and every choice pulls you deeper into the nightmare.” Stewart Sparke, Writer and Director
