We're releasing today the first update making changes on the balancing of the game, in response to the great feedback we've been receiving over the last 2 weeks!
Balancing
William's Health Worries negative trait giving him Stress for each character with a State above 50:
Is now capped at 5 characters.
Is triggered before the other Day Effects, so the daily Hunger increase isn't taken into account.
Increased the limit of additional battle passives a given enemy unit can have :
3 => 6.
The impact on expedition encounters remains minimal since enemy progression isn't faster than before, and the limit was hardly reached.
Tribute fights difficulty will now max out later than before, making them more challenging over time if you win against them a lot.
Characters getting out of cryo have the Exp. of the least experienced character => They now have the average Exp. of the rest of the crew.
QoL
Improved Battle Speed setting
Fixed a couple of issues that were limiting the impact of this setting on the duration of skills animations (so Fast, Very Fast and Extreme will feature shorter skill animations).
Additionally increased the skill animation speed for Extreme.
Increased the visibility of the Reconstruction tab of the Workshop with a pulsating notification until it has been opened.
The 2 leftmost slots of the Shelter are now the last ones filled, limiting the frequency of characters obscured by the Sidebar.
Bug fixes
Fixed Pen always displaying "-25% Discomfort" in the preview (it was only a display issue, the correct value was applied).
Fixed a few text/localization entries.
Fixed a late game enemy unit not playing their animations correctly during battles.
