Dead Alone is now officially available !

Hey everyone! Dead Alone is now officially available in its 1.0 version! After more than 3 years of work, i'm really excited to deliver the final version to the game and release it!

changedThe Demo Version of the game as received an update as well. This update aims to give a better representation of the gameplay experience that the game will offer. The demo is now a bit longer and has been updated with the latest build of the game to include all the improvements and fixes made recently.
changedWith this 1.0 release, there have been a lot of changes and improvements made to the game since the last beta version. Let’s check the most important ones in the patch notes below:
fixedOptimisation Large cpu performance improvements which should result in better frametime stability and better framerates overall Fixed various audio/graphical issues and improved gpu performances on several areas of the map
fixedWorld Added many world interactions accross the map in the survival gamemode. Those interactions include various puzzles to access supply chests and hidden gear Zombies can now spawn in free roam to add more challenge to the overall exploration experience and make the world feel less empty Global polish on the whole map to improve collisions, navigation and gameplay Fixed an issues with tree leaves that could block or deflect bullets in some conditions Fixed various collisions issues with some buildings

    • Fixed an issue with the crosshair wrongly displaying an ennemy indicator in some conditions

    • Reworked and updated some tutorials

    • Fixed an issue that could cause the tutorials to block the player’s progression

    • Various other UI changes and improvements

  • Balancing

    • Rebalanced most crafting costs

    • Improved the ground loot system to avoid confusions on which items have been looted or not

    • Global rebalancing of the ground loot

    • Many balance changes to weapons and zombies

    • Increased max capacity for projectiles and heal items

  • Miscellaneous

    • Fixed an issue that could break the day/night cycle by sleeping multiple times

    • Improved projectiles physics to reduce instances of projectiles going through the ground

    • Remove walk stance as it could be confusing if triggered by accident

    • Fixed various issues with player’s death

    • Added visual and audio damage feedbacks to all kind of damages

    • Added multiple auto saves at some important moments

    • Sleeping will now properly regenerate your stamina

    • Improved global audio mix and reworked zombies audio

    • Fixed an issue that caused only some types of zombies to spawn in the introduction area

    • Various fixes and improvements to the endless gamemode
