DCS: F-100D Super Sabre by Grinnelli Designs

DCS Core

  • Calling Airbase.getDesc() for the "painted H" pads on Syria & Germany causes the game to crash - fixed.

  • Crash when connecting to server after mission loading in sim start process - fixed.

Multiplayer

  • Added netcode synchronization and new logic for Zero Length Launch entity with animations and gameplay ground service constraints

  • Issue with air dropped cargo if crate destroyed, but visual model remains in sim on a dedicated server - fixed

AI Aircraft

  • Developed new logic for AI units using Zero Length Launch platforms

  • Added new AI ground attack logic for Toss Attack (including rockets and bombs).

  • Fixed: Fighters AI. The helicopter UH-1H, Mi-8MTV2, Mi-24P, Mi-26 are targeted even though the enemy is given a Search and Engage task with "helicopters" unchecked.

  • AI planes will perform a distant evasive maneuver against a hostile aircraft or ground radar, not against a missile they shouldn't be able to see (except ARH missiles).

AI Surface

  • Fixed. 052C general livery still shows flag

  • Fixed: SCUD cannot move after launch.

  • Fixed: Artillery would not perform any further actions after depleting its ammo.

  • Fixed: Tor SAM system no longer tracks targets through terrain.

  • Fixed: Incorrect turret traverse limits on T-72B3.

  • Fixed: P14 not operating properly for S200.

  • Fixed: LR indication on M1A2 MBT — now blinks "0000" when the selected weapon exceeds maximum range.

  • Fixed: Launcher rotates before raising the turret for ATGM BRDM-2.

  • Fixed: Country origin for Historical mode for BRDM-2 and Strela-1.

  • Fixed: Stinger does not use superelevation of tube at launch, so the missile hits the ground in some cases when shooting at low-level target.

GUI

  • Dynamic spawn support for Zero Length Launch platforms added

  • Settings. Max FPS slider - allowed to increment by 1

  • Dynamic spawn loadout issue with saving last loadout used and autofilling it even if next flight is on new server where some items of this loadout may be unavailable - Fixed

  • The choice of Geo Grid appearance now will be saved between sessions.

  • Collect game related statistics information and explanation window was updated and statistics collection choice have been reset as a reminder for users. Please choose “Agree” in new pop-up window if you want to help us improving DCS.

Mission Editor

  • ME. Added new static units category and “Point take off” and icon for Zero Length Launch assets and first asset ZELL for F-100D

  • ME. Weapons panel. Saving a mission will now attempt to apply default weapon settings in case a pylon contains none.

  • ME. Added ability to view/edit lua-scripts that are saved or added in the mission via triggers like DO SCRIPT FILE etc. With line numbering and syntax highlighting.

  • ME. Directional left key does not work - Fixed.

  • ME. Added new advanced waypoint action Toss Attack for rockets and bombs with relevant parameters.

Triggers

  • Added fade switch On/Off for images triggered in game.

Scripting API

  • Potential fix for S_EVENT_HIT / S_EVENT_KILL missing on kill trades

  • Wrong attribution of coalition on kills of statics and S_EVENT_KILL missing - Fixed

Weapons

  • CM-802AKG missile modeling updated with INS, route planning and is now on par with AGM-84H SLAM-ER on detail modeling scale

  • FAB-100/200/500/1500 bombs. Adjusted damage factors, explosive and weights.

  • AGM-62 (both versions). Adjusted warhead parameters.

  • M117 bomb. Implementation of different fuses.

  • Kh-25MP ARM. Adjusted guidance system parameters.

  • ARMs were improperly filtering out some radar types, causing them to be able to lock onto EWRs - fixed.

  • Improved targeting accuracy for altimetric fuzes by using slant range for calculations.

  • Made FZU-39 function as a radioaltimeter and adjusted BLU-97 dispersion parameters.

  • SAMP-250/400 bombs. Excess power has been reduced.

  • AIM-9E was added to the world.

  • AGM-45A/B. Adjusted flame effect positions. Improved motor effects for both Rocketdyne Mk 39 and Aerojet Mk 78, Mk 78 now uses a smaller exhaust flame and reduced smoke trail for the sustainer stage.

  • AIM-7E-2 3D model updated.

Voice chat

  • Added. R-862 radio to Mig-29A Fulcrum

Data Transfer Cartridge:

  • Video from Wags: DTC Update

  • Added for F-16C:

    1. MPD Partition – GEO LINES tab (steerpoints 31-55)

    2. MPD Partition – DEST PTS tab (steerpoints 81-99)

    3. MPD Partition – THREAT PTS tab (steerpoints 56-70)

  • Added for F/A-18C:

    1. SA Partition – CAP PTS, CORRIDORS, FAOR/FLOT, and MEZ THRTS tabs (SA page graphics)

    2. SA Partition – SETTINGS tab (SA page default SENSOR and DCLTR settings)

  • Replaced legacy menus with user interface buttons in DTC Manager.

  • MiG-29 DTC Layout Improvements.

  • Fixed: F-16C: DTC load map warning popup unexpected.

  • Fixed: F/A-18C: RWR Priority table overrides active threats.

  • Improved Load to group window refactor:

    1. Added Pre-load DTC option to Load to Group window. Applies Pre-load DTC option for all airplanes/helicopters in the group at once. (Pre-load option may be individually selected from airplane/helicopter unit’s DTC tab.)

    2. Changed widgets style to match with DTC

  • Fixed: F-16C Offset aimpoints (OA1/OA2) change elevation without user input.

  • Fixed: F/A-18C Offset aimpoints change elevation without user input.
