changedBig update!!Let us begin with an explanation of the armor system. In Days of Haze, every part of the world belongs to a climate zone: Hot - very warm, Medium - Temperate, Cold - what it says :-) . Every day has different temperatures and climate and it can improve or get worse by you, which you can check out outside Haze's home:
addedBig update!!Here you see there are 25 degrees in Karma Village which is in the HOT temperate zone. If you were to switch to the nice new beautiful Blue Protector Armor you found shown below. It would have a low hot resistance which means even in only 25 degrees you would overheat after a while and be having to bring enormous amounts of water. When you overheat you can also catch bugs and diseases that affect you in various ways.
changedBig update!!You can also see in the picture below that the armor has a stamina penalty which means you get tired more quickly. The maximum stamina is affected by how much you rest and how well fed you are. So weigh pros and cons.
addedBig update!!Below is a picture of the first inventory page. In the top right corner are quick slots where a lot of items are selectable. You can choose to stack heal items activated by the buttons. Or different kinds of bombs you crafted or special items like hooks and the infamous axe to break rocks and find secrets and new paths in the world. The game is full with secrets and hidden lore begging to be explored.

Big update!!
We will release a meaty DEMO on the first of March. Be ready with the controllers or keyboard or flight stick! Days of Haze is a passion project for us, developed over a period of six years, and now I can finally show you what we have been working on all these years with a first brief introduction to the items and armors.
Let us begin with an explanation of the armor system. In Days of Haze, every part of the world belongs to a climate zone: Hot - very warm, Medium - Temperate, Cold - what it says :-) . These temperatures in all zones are affectable by how you play. The temperature and amount of wind and rain/thunder in turn depend on how much wildlife you kill and how many seeds you plant or can be connected to quests in the numerous towns. The whole world's climate and people's lives are affected by what you and others do in the world. This in turn affects the growth rate of all things growing, the world is very reactive.
You can also see in the picture below that the armor has a stamina penalty which means you get tired more quickly. The maximum stamina is affected by how much you rest and how well fed you are. So weigh pros and cons.
