🎮 Two Control Schemes Available — Try Switching If Movement Feels Off

If the movement ever feels a bit uncomfortable or “not quite right”, make sure to check the control settings. The game supports two different movement schemes, and they feel noticeably different.

🕹 Arcade

  • Classic top-down style controls

  • Movement is relative to the screen

  • Up is always up, left is always left

  • Great for exploration and precise positioning

🎯 FPS Style

  • Movement is relative to the character’s facing direction

  • Forward means moving where the character is looking

  • Feels closer to FPS or twin-stick controls

  • Works especially well for combat and tense situations

👉 If the controls don’t feel comfortable at first, it might just be the wrong scheme for you. Try switching it in the settings and pick the one that feels best.

Thanks for playing Day Off: Moonriver Incident đź–¤ As always, feedback on controls is very welcome!
