Repeated intro
Hello, friends! Since the holidays and the end of the year are drawing near, we just wanted to let you know how things are going with Daughter of Crone.

changedLet’s start with the good news, first – we are still working on the game, and have made quite a bit of progress during the past year. So far, the development process has not cost us our health, happiness or marriage. Considering how rough things are out there in the real world, we are doing quite alright and that is something to be grateful about! However, the bad news is that the release of our game will not happen as soon as we had originally hoped.
addedBased on the demo feedback we got during the Steam Next Fest, there is still quite a bit of work to be done. Not only do we need to add tons of dialogue, quests and other content to bring the world to life, it looks like we have to do some serious improvements on the playability, balance and accessibility of our game. As we are a team of only two people, with only one of us being able to work on the game full-time, this will probably take a while. The last thing we want to do is to release a game that feels unfinished. On that note, it is not likely that we will be doing Early Access, either. We'll keep you updated on our process, and will let you know as soon as we have a realistic estimate for our release date.
addedWishing you a happy Yuletide, and a wonderful new year

But to end on a more positive note, we want to give huge thanks to everyone who wishlisted Daughter of Crone and left a review on the demo. As an indie developer with no prior releases, it can be next to impossible to get anyone to even notice your game. The fact that we are very close to reaching 3000 wishlists is quite mind blowing! We are very grateful for all the support, and will keep working hard to deliver a good game for you.
Wishing you a happy Yuletide, and a wonderful new year
