addedHaving released a revamped version of Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder on Steam just three weeks ago, Iceberg Interactive and developer Zoetrope Interactive are now delighted to announce today’s Steam launch of the Director’s Cut Edition of the sequel, Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage. As one of the few games that have actually captured the H.P. Lovecraft vibe, the Darkness Within series creates an unsettling atmosphere, making the player feel uneasy throughout the game, without reverting to actual gore. This is perhaps best illustrated in the brand new trailer, when the main character refers to the voices only he can hear: “Hearing this, I know that every sane person would call me mad, and I truly hope I am...” With the opportunity to present the game on the Steam platform, we created a much improved version, enhancing graphics, adding new locations and new puzzles; making the game a great experience for both new players as well as those familiar with the series. We really hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did creating it.
