Repeated intro

Hello everyone,

This is Mugigo, the team behind Darklord’s Tower.

Thank you so much to everyone who played the playtest and shared feedback with us.

This test gave us a much clearer picture of what is already working, and what still needs to improve. Your feedback has been incredibly valuable in helping us decide where the game needs to go next.

🎮 What This Playtest Gave Us

This playtest was not just about finding bugs. It helped us see much more clearly what Darklord’s Tower needs in order to become a stronger game.

More than anything, it gave us a clearer direction for what to focus on next.

🛠️ What We’re Focusing on Next

Based on what we learned from this playtest, our next focus will be on improving the core loop, strengthening onboarding through tutorials and a codex, and continuing to polish the game’s presentation and overall feel.

We also want enemies to become more interesting not by simply becoming tougher, but by encouraging more meaningful decisions through the different ways they climb the tower.

For the next version, we are also aiming to return with a more refined layer of meta progression.

⏳ Our Next Milestone

Our next milestone is August.

By then, our goal is to further solidify the game’s core systems and general content outside of story and boss content, and return with another playtest built on a much stronger version of the game.

đź’Ś One More Thank You

Thank you again for your time, feedback, and support. This playtest gave us a lot to learn from, and also gave us a lot of energy to keep moving forward.

We’ll keep sharing more updates as development continues.
