First of all, a very Merry Christmas to all players!
Is it snowing where you are? Hehe, it's snowing in my game, and it feels really nice.
Let me mention this first: the cover image for this announcement was generated using AI.
It's been a while since I shared the game's development progress. A lot has been updated during this time, and the subsequent chapters are mostly outlined.

The upcoming Chapters 3 and 4 are going to be fantastic! The two mysterious voices are finally going to appear! And Chapter 4 will even have a Boss fight, bringing tense and exciting gameplay!

New Demo Features & Content
Meanwhile, I've been continuously updating the Demo, and it now has many practical and convenient features! Let's take a look!
- Quality Updates -
Changed how the loot drop system is displayed. It's now easier for players to know what item they got each time. The old loot notification UI in the bottom-left corner of the screen has been removed.
The game now has a status effect system. Players can now gain statuses due to being outside, cold, darkness, etc. These statuses are displayed on the UI, making them clearly visible.
Several new units. These units are categorized as "Sky-Piercing Pillars". Their effect is very cool—these pillars tower into the clouds. They continuously provide the player with certain resource output, though the type of resource produced is random.
Added construction quantity limits to the blueprint building system. A small number of units can only be built once.
Adjusted the map resources in Chapter 2 to make the whole map feel less empty.
The Hoarse Voice's trading panel now has an additional item: the blueprint for the Pillar of Darkness. Buy it to construct one.
New unit trait: Indestructible. Units with this trait cannot be destroyed.
Bombs now have more functions.
Hunger and Immunity now have their own dedicated icon logos.
Now, if you take the Darkling's egg from the nest, a unit called Dark Slime will spawn on the spot. This is a unit unfavorable to the player.
Adjusted the resource quantity of Burnstone Ore deposits.
The overall lighting style of the game has changed: light sources now cast shadows on other units.
Added hidden easter eggs to the Chapter 1 and 2 maps.
Added a Credits section to the creator list.
Added a game settings function! You can now adjust the volume for music and sound effects!
The game now has a small achievement system!
