Amazing First Week! + Steam Art Behind-the-Scenes

To celebrate 1 week of Dark Engines we wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at how our Steam capsule art came together starting as a hand-painted piece by my brother.

The painting was done with acrylic on hardboard. We kind of wanted to go for an old school Magic the Gathering card look or something so we chose to do a real painting. Then I couldn't find a print shop with the machinery to scan a painting this large into digital so I ended up taking a high res photo of it with a Camera (Sony A74) and then doing a final photoshop pass. We're stoked with how it came out!
