changedHi, another bug fix update for DA_RL. I just love updating DA_RL! Bug Fixes - Cursed items can no longer be unequipped or displaced by equipping something else. Any cursed item that has been identified (by equipping it) is permanently stuck until a Remove Curse scroll, Enchant Weapon scroll, or Identify scroll frees it. The game now prints "You can't. The X appears to be cursed!" in all such cases. - Unequipping armor with a health bonus no longer leaves HP above the new maximum - Spell combat messages now use the target's name before death resolves, so you no longer see "magic missile strikes Remains of raven" etc. (affects all damaging spells) - Eating the last item in a filtered category (e.g. all food) no longer silently switches the inventory to a different category - Reading a scroll that kills you (die scroll) now correctly closes any open overlay instead of leaving the inventory visible behind the death screen - Raven, kestrel/hawk, and griffin corpse effects now correctly expand vision range for their duration; previously the bonus was tracked but never applied, causing FOV to shrink when the effect expired - Looking at a tile (L) now correctly describes revealed traps - Targeted items (wands, targeted scrolls) are now identified after successful use, matching the behaviour of non-targeted items - Rattlesnake always bites; it no longer has a 50% chance to "claw at" you - Damage strings that use the internal "/" notation (e.g. quarterstaff, flail) now display as "1d6+3" everywhere in the UI instead of "1d6/3"
changedQuality of Life - Inventory navigation wraps: pressing Up on the first item moves to the last, and Down on the last item moves to the first - Picking up items when multiple are stacked on the same tile now opens a selection menu showing each item's glyph and name, rather than always grabbing the top one - Mage quick cast: press Z (keyboard) or LB+LT (controller) to immediately re-cast the last spell used, skipping the spell menu. The binding is rebindable in Controls. Controller trigger + LB combos now work correctly as distinct bindings.

Display - First launch now auto-detects your monitor resolution and picks the largest supported resolution that fits, sets an appropriate zoom level (3x at 1080p/1440p, 4x at 4K), switches to Borderless window mode, and tones CRT down to Subtle - "Reset to Defaults" in Options now uses Borderless + 1920x1080 + CRT Subtle as its baseline instead of Windowed + 1280x720 + CRT Normal
