D1AL-ogue changes
To all our mechanics, thank you so much for your continued love and support since our launch. The entire team is deeply grateful, especially for helping us surpass 2,600 reviews on Steam.
To show our appreciation, we plan to share development updates on our next title and showcase amazing fan creations at least once a month. Thank you again.
Here is the April development progress report for our upcoming title, [D1AL-ogue+].
What's New in the Sequel
Over 8x More Story Content The game's overall volume will be significantly larger than its predecessor. Many more characters will be introduced, and unresolved plotlines and foreshadowing from the first game will be tied up.
Non-linear Progression Instead of a linear plot, we are developing a non-linear experience where the story unfolds differently based on the player's choices.
What's Been Completed
Scenario: We have already completed a script that is twice the length of the entire previous game and are continuing to write more.
Michelle's Animation: The in-game idle and dialogue animations for Michelle, featuring her new look, are complete.
Character Sheets: Here's a sneak peek at our new characters and the new menu UI, which is currently being polished. Lianne Maya
New Menu Interface: This is more than just a screen; it will function as the player's 'workshop drawer'. It includes features that allow you to open the drawer and interact with various objects.
What's Next
Implementing a Simultaneous Customer System: We are incorporating the community feedback, "It would be great if multiple customers could visit at once," and are currently implementing this system into the game.
- Adding New CharactersWe are planning to create the art and pixel work for many more new characters who will visit Chroma City.
- Introducing Event Illustrations (CGs)To better visualize specific events and important moments, we will be creating new illustrations for key situations.
