changedHello, everyone. First, I want to apologize to all of you who’ve been waiting for an update. I previously mentioned that I planned to release a new playtest build over the past few months, but due to some issues encountered during actual development, the update schedule has been delayed.
added2. Full Gameplay Flow ImplementationThe game code for the first main route has already been implemented, and I’m currently doing [flow testing]. There are still follow-up steps such as cutscene/staging setup, balance tuning, and so on… To make things clearer, I’ve also added a set of in-flow guidance prompts to improve the play experience. Because the story involves a lot of quest systems and flow debugging, development is taking longer than originally estimated.

Dear boss players, and all the “patients” who’ve been following this project:

Hello, everyone. First, I want to apologize to all of you who’ve been waiting for an update. I previously mentioned that I planned to release a new playtest build over the past few months, but due to some issues encountered during actual development, the update schedule has been delayed.

In the course of hands-on development, I found that pausing midway through building the full-release routes has a major impact on efficiency, so for now I’m planning to keep working on the routes I have in progress. Once the overall flow and experience are more firmly nailed down, I’ll put together a better playtest build for everyone to try.

As a result, I’ve made some adjustments to the overall development plan, and I also appreciate your understanding and patience.

Recent development progress report for the game

1. Story Writing

[Day 1–7] The common route script has been fully rewritten and has been configured in-game.

Of the three main story routes, two are now mostly complete, and the remaining one is also close to completion.

2. Full Gameplay Flow Implementation

The game code for the first main route has already been implemented, and I’m currently doing [flow testing]. There are still follow-up steps such as cutscene/staging setup, balance tuning, and so on… To make things clearer, I’ve also added a set of in-flow guidance prompts to improve the play experience. Because the story involves a lot of quest systems and flow debugging, development is taking longer than originally estimated.

3. Localization

All text content has been delivered to the translators, and translation is in full swing.

4. Other Game Content Optimizations

Optimizations for other in-game content, such as CG backgrounds, are already in progress.

About the release date

Since development is still primarily a solo effort, I’m not able to provide an exact release date for now.

However, what I can confirm is this: the full version is planned to be finished and released within this year. I’ll do my best to keep development moving forward steadily.

About the old Demo

At the moment, the core development work is still done by me alone.

Although I’ve gradually had collaborators help with writing and art asset production, my development bandwidth is still limited, and I can’t maintain multiple versions of the project at the same time.

So I’ll be focusing my main effort on developing the full-release content, which means I won’t be continuing maintenance of the old playtest.

Thank you for your understanding.

And some good news!

With players’ support and recommendations,"cyber paranoia"’s Steam wishlist has surpassed 100,00!!!

Wishlists are incredibly important for an indie developer like me!

Thank you so much for your attention and support. Next, I’ll keep pushing development forward! Thanks for your patience and for waiting.
