The Freakpocalypse is coming, but first you've got to survive high school.
Hey friends and folks! You've been waiting for it, and we're here to lay it on you: We're REALLY happy to tell you that Cyanide & Happiness - Freakpocalypse (Episode 1) will be available March 11th, 2021 on PC and Nintendo Switch!
Now you, too, can experience what it means to be a lonely, constantly distraught high schooler as we begin our trilogy of tragedy! Follow along with Coop's journey as he does normal student things, like:
Get a hall pass
Avoid getting killed by bullies
Try and find a prom date
Look at, touch, and talk to virtually everything
Start a dialogue with over 100 bizarre characters including a suburban survivalist, disgruntled retirement home residents, horrible school faculty members, your horny grandma, and even a dad who's also a shark named Shark Dad.
We know fans and backers have been waiting for Freakpocalypse, and with good reason; it's been a painstaking process to make sure that we got the hallmarks of a true point-and-click adventure game just right. We wanted to be thorough, and that meant voicing a full cast of characters, writing an insane amount of dialogue, and making sure that you can look at, touch, and talk to everything.
On launch day, join the developers and their good pal, The Mutant, as they stream the sheer chaos that is the world of Cyanide & Happiness - Freakpocalypse! Find them on Twitch, Steam, or Explosm's social media channels to watch along!
We're grateful you've stuck with us this far, and we're more than happy to say you're in the home stretch! Sharpen your pencils, pack your lunch, stuff your bra, and get ready for a miserable wonderful journey through Netherton as Coop totally DOESN'T have a trainwreck of a time. Who said that? Not us!
