Cursed Dungeon Raider changes
As always, I want to thank everyone who participated in the Closed Alpha. Your feedback is always valuable in spotting and fixing numerous bugs. The bugs for this update were especially tough as they had very specific triggers. Without your help, I would never ever had found these. So, thank you very much and I look forward to your continued support with this latest update.

ANIMALS
CHANGES
Changed fox behavior so they no longer flee from wisps, preventing erratic nighttime movement on the Nordic Island.
BLACK MARKET
NEW
Added additional lights to the Black Market.
Added doors under the staircase that were unhinged from the ground level door frames.
FIXES
Fixed the Black Market bouncer blocking the exit after the last purchasable item in inventory was placed down.
CHARACTERS
NEW
Added a character model for the Black Market bouncer.
Added head and eye movement for finished NPCs.
Added blinking for finished NPCs.
Added player tracking for finished NPCs.
Added independent pupillary light response for each eye on finished NPCs.
Added eye squinting behavior for finished NPCs when blinded by light.
Added a new voice line for the Black Market innkeeper when submitting a mission with completely incorrect items.
Added a new voice line for the museum director when the player has not found the starting equipment and speaks to him again, guiding the player to the storage room.
Added a new voice line for the museum attendant where he now initiates conversation with the player, when the Black Market can be unlocked.
Added new voice lines for the museum storage worker that inform the player about the director or equipment at the start and wish the player success in exploration.
CHANGES
Changed the museum guard voice. Special thanks to Cheshire_Jack for the voice dubbing!
GAMEPLAY
CHANGES
Changed fire traps to deal damage over time like gas traps instead of a single hit.
FIXES
Fixed the leave objective completing when interacting with the exit without actually traveling to another location.
Fixed an issue where difficulty dropped to extremely easy after repeatedly traveling to dungeon locations with a valuable inventory.
GRAPHICS
CHANGES
Changed DLSS to version 4.5 with improved performance and image quality. For best results, update the Nvidia driver to version 591.74 or later, then open the Nvidia App, navigate to Graphics, Global Settings, DLSS Overwrite Model, set it to Latest or Recommended, and apply.
HOME
NEW
Added the ability to travel around the world using the world map on the office desk at home.
HISTORICAL MUSEUM
NEW
Added escort behavior where the museum guard removes the player after jumping on his head.
CHANGES
Changed the optional donation objective to only appear when the player has an item to donate and to complete once a donation is made.
Changed museum busts to remain visible at greater distances.
FIXES
Fixed the museum guard no longer standing still when the player was nearby during an escort attempt.
Fixed player health and endurance not being refilled when traveling to the museum.
ITEMS
NEW
Added guide flags to starting equipment when beginning a new game.
FIXES
Fixed resin torch interaction issues after dying while holding a raised resin torch.
Fixed lighter interaction issues after dying while the lighter was lit.
LANGUAGES
FIXES
Fixed incorrect translations in the demo text boxes at the beginning and end for all languages except English and German.
MYTHOLOGICAL MONSTER
FIXES
Fixed the Golem aborting its rock throw due to starting its roar animation and holding the rock indefinitely.
Fixed the Transylvania castle monster being unable to re-enter the castle gate when walking instead of running.
NORDIC DUNGEON
CHANGES
Changed the optional recover precious objects objective to complete when picking up any valuable Nordic object.
Changed the optional defuse traps objective to complete after defusing a single trap.
FIXES
Fixed the Bronzegold Celtic Cross falling through the chest bottom, preventing pickup and blocking progression.
Fixed the Nordic collectible report objective being removed from active objectives after leaving the Nordic Island.
SAVE AND LOAD
FIXES
Fixed being unable to travel back home after loading the initial save game.
TRANSYLVANIA DUNGEON
CHANGES
Changed campfire smoke to remain visible at greater distances.
FIXES
Fixed the echo hall effect and background noise remaining active outside the castle after dying inside and returning to Transylvania.
Fixed holes in the Transylvania castle ground rocks.
Fixed the portal in the Transylvania castle flickering excessively bright.
Fixed the Transylvania castle gate closing and reopening when the monster chased the player through it a second time.
Fixed the outer stone wall of the Transylvania castle being visible inside some dead ends.
Fixed picking up the main antiquity not triggering the event sequence if a main antiquity was collected in a previous dungeon run.
USER INTERFACE
CHANGES
Changed inventory item displays to show price and weight for both individual items and the full stack in brackets.
FIXES
Fixed the item info window remaining visible during dragging and displaying incorrect information.
Please note that all save games will be reset when the full release is launched. This version is intended for testing purposes, so enjoy exploring and experimenting without worrying about permanent progress.
