changedI wanted to give an honest update about the state of development. Over the years, my life situation has changed a lot. What started as a full-time project eventually became financially unsustainable and over time I had to return to other work and responsibilities. Since I was the one who originally started the project, I continued working on the game in my spare time alongside a regular full-time job.

I wanted to give an honest update about the state of development. Over the years, my life situation has changed a lot. What started as a full-time project eventually became financially unsustainable and over time I had to return to other work and responsibilities. Since I was the one who originally started the project, I continued working on the game in my spare time alongside a regular full-time job.

Since then, life has continued to change, and I now also have two young children. I’m very happy with where life has taken me, but it also means I have far less time and energy available for game development than I used to. Most of my free time outside work is spent being a dad, and by the evenings, when I technically could work on the game, I’m often simply exhausted. Because of that, development has become much slower than I originally expected.

I also need to be realistic about the roadmap I shared in the past. A lot of those plans were made when I still had much more development time available. At the current pace, that roadmap just isn’t realistic anymore.

So going forward, I want to change how I approach development. Instead of trying to force a large long-term roadmap that I may never realistically complete, I want to focus on improving the areas of the game that I feel matter most, at a pace that actually fits my current life situation.

I also want to be transparent that I genuinely do not know when the project will be finished, or even if it ever fully will be. Realistically, I would probably need a major change in my available free time before I could return to the kind of development pace the project originally had, and that may still be years away.

I know this may be disappointing to hear, especially for those of you who have been following the project for a long time. The last thing I want to do is mislead people or create expectations I can’t reliably meet.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the game, played it, shared feedback, and remained patient over the years. Your support has meant a lot to me, even during periods where progress has been very slow. I also realize it’s been a long time since my last proper update here. I hope this clears things up and if there are questions I'm happy to answer them here or on Discord.
