The title says it all: we 𝐖𝐎𝐍 the WINGS Award at the A MAZE. Fest in Berlin!!

It comes with a lil' shiny cash prize and a beautiful TROPHY. I'm still not over it.

The WINGS Award is given to games where women or gender-marginalised folks lead the charge. So receiving it for Curiosmos, a game I started building from just a tiny dream and a bunch of determination into a game being made by this awesome team, means the universe to me. ✨

Here’s what they said during the announcement (and yes, I almost cried):

The moment was incredible, I want to high-five the galaxy.

I’m just so thankful... for the team (Robin, Guillaume, Chris, Tom, Titouan, Pepijn), for our community, for everyone who’s played the game and said something kind. For you!!

Buttttt, winning this award doesn’t mean the game is done. It just means the universe is nudging us forward.

So what now?

We’re still deep in development, sculpting oceans and atmospheres, tuning gravity until it feels right, and giving planets their weird little wishes.

The game is planned to release later this year. (It’s real!! It's happening!!)
