fixedNew (sort of) campaign chaptersAs promised the campaign got two more chapters added to it. Unfortunately we rolled out this feature a week earlier than intended and the quality of the content was not up to par. We apologize for that. This is now resolved - and don't worry, if you already completed some (or all!) of the levels, you will not lose your progress.

Introduction

As promised in our updates roadmap we are releasing our first major content update for Cubiscape 2. See bellow for what you will find in this release. We are also looking for more feedback so we know what to focus on in future updates. We read every comment and review - your opinion is very valuable to us!

New Features

Steam Achievements

Steam post image

This was the most requested feature by far so we are pleased to announce that now you can earn over 20 achievements by playing the main campaign and solving random puzzles!

Leaderboards

Steam post image

To bring a bit of competitiveness to random levels we are introducing the Leaderboard feature that will track the most capable players across all platforms. You will find the leaderboards directly in the "Random" menu. There is a separate table for each of the four difficulties. Those players that solve the most levels in the last 7 days will appear in the leaderboards - so go out there and earn those bragging rights!

Note: this feature is still in Beta and we will be closely monitoring it for any potential problems. The leaderboards update roughly every hour, so it might take some time before you see your latest score.

New (sort of) campaign chapters

As promised the campaign got two more chapters added to it. Unfortunately we rolled out this feature a week earlier than intended and the quality of the content was not up to par. We apologize for that. This is now resolved - and don't worry, if you already completed some (or all!) of the levels, you will not lose your progress.

Other improvements

  • Better tutorial

  • General UI improvements

  • Several other under the hood fixes

That's it for today. We are already working on more improvements to the game and will be ready to share more details in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
