changedToday, I’d like to talk about our language support and the localization process for different countries.
changedWhile I mainly handle Korean localization, I also support localization work for other languages. Currently, Erase supports Korean, English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Japanese, and Spanish (Spain/Latin America) .
addedThe two Spanish variations were recently added, and I think this is where I put in the most effort. I wish I could speak every language like a native, but due to realistic limitations, I borrowed the power of AI technology . We utilized language models like ChatGPT and Gemini, rather than simple machine translators.
changedOf course, hiring professional translators would be best, but it was realistically difficult due to the budget constraints of an indie development team. However, instead of just running a basic translator, I strived to maximize quality by using AI to fix typos, correct awkward phrasing, and analyze context for the players who will enjoy the game in that language. I believe this is the best method available to us in our current situation.
changedWith the addition of Spanish, we have also finished localizing existing announcements and two YouTube teaser videos. We have specifically prepared subtitles for each language on YouTube, so please feel free to watch them.

Lastly, as of February 6th, we have confirmed an issue where the description and introduction content on the Steam store page are not being applied correctly, meaning the store page is not fully localized yet. We are currently waiting for a response from Steam support and will update it immediately as soon as the issue is resolved.
