Hi folks! This is our last update of 2025, can you believe that? If you've loved Crypt of the NecroDancer, and want to show our team a little extra support in a special way, we've just dropped the Crypt of the NecroDancer: Supporter Upgrade!

Crypt of the NecroDancer v4.2.1 is now available!
New DLC: Supporter Upgrade
Introduces 5 new Rift-themed skins
Includes skins for Cadence, Dove, Nocturna, Reaper and Suzu
Reactive skins: characters change expressions when achieving a high coin multiplier or dropping to low health
Skins can be equipped via the 'Change Skin' shrine in the character selection room
Changes the in-game appearance of Hephaestus, Merlin and the Shopkeeper to match their Rift outfits
Adds a special golden badge and name color to the player list and chat in online multiplayer
NPC skins and the player list badge can be disabled via the menu: Options > Misc Options > Supporter Upgrade Options

Fixed Shovel Knight's held shovel not being visible in-game without owning the SYNCHRONY DLC
Fixed Scatter Trap being invisible when joining a multiplayer lobby without owning the AMPLIFIED DLC
Fixed Pawnbroker sprite not displaying correctly in Mystery Mode

Fixed gameplay actions not being assignable to the same buttons as certain menu controls
Fixed'Mods' menu briefly freezing the game when subscribed to a large number of mods
Modding features
Added support for passing 4x4 transformation matrices to camera options
Requires fields [c]lerpTranslation[/c], [c]lerpScale[/c] and [c]lerpRotation[/c] to be set to 1
Added function [c]Menu.updateDeferred()[/c] to schedule a menu update for the next tick
Subsequent calls to this function during the same tick are ignored, resulting in at most one menu update per tick
Added component [c]Goldman_itemPogoWallSpikeImmunity[/c] to grant protection against wall spikes during Shovel Drop
Added component [c]Goldman_itemDamageFlagsAutoPogo[/c] to provide special damage flags from Shovel Knight's initial hit
Added component [c]Goldman_characterAutoPogoIncomingDamageFlags[/c] to receive special damage flags from Shovel Knight's initial hit
