addedThe recently added elite monsters are intended to add variety and some new ways for players to interact with enemies, not significantly increase difficulty. This change addresses the skeletal abomination elite, which absorbs power from other nearby enemies and was becoming too powerful too quickly in early stages. Its base movement speed has been decreased and the rate at which is gains power has been decreased, and scales back up to its original value at stage 5 (The Crossroads) to accommodate the player's lack of control over dealing with it or leaving it alone (or perhaps purposefully feeding it) early on.
