Hi everyone! CritterGarden 1.0 is officially out! Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported the three year journey up until now, especially those who have playtested and contributed feedback to the game's dev

If you're a new player, welcome and thanks for checking the game out! I truly hope you are able to appreciate what I tried to capture by making this game, and that you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it!

changedThe next step will be to port the game to other platforms, with a particular focus on a potential mobile release, and Switch 2. This of course will require a better controller interface. If the demand is there, I am also open to pursue localization via translation.
addedThere are no concrete plans for additional content, but the longer term stretch goal would be to pursue additional (and fully free) content updates. This could include something like new Critters, plants, objects, or perhaps even separate mini-planets with fresh Critter phylogenies.

Here's a roadmap for the game going forward:

1.) Bug fixes, balancing/tweaks, QoL

The absolute initial priority, I plan to make sure the current base game is as bug free and fun to play as possible! Please drop by the discord if you encounter any issues or have minor QoL suggestions.

2.) Better controller support, console porting, localization
