Hi folks,
We've been floored by the reception of this game and to thank the players we've been hard at work on a Big update to improve the quality of life in the game with more prestige upgrades and smoother experience all round :)
New Prestiges:
Corium boost upgrade (Corium gained = levels ^ boost level which favours longer rounds)
Auto collect XP upgrade
Sophon XP multiplier (per sophon so max 4X mult)
Favourite skills upgrade
Sell skills upgrade lets you experiment without a full prestige
Non-Fissile atom damage upgrade
Neutron max-chain upgrade (all atoms split contribute to max chain)
Changes:
Faster idle mode restart
Toggle idle mode during rounds
Scene transitions are quicker and hitch less
Hold button is quicker
Clicking a skill auto unlocks the requisite skills
Hold left mouse to swipe through the skill tree to unlock them
Music is randomised instead of restarted on reload
Pan the skill tree by mousing over the screen edge
Pan the skill tree with middle mouse click or keyboard arrow keys
Level select screen doesn't automatically scroll to the last unlocked level
Back button goes to the last screen you were on
You can spend corium any time
Reduced the prestige milestone requirements
Added an icon to show clicks gain 1 research point
Added a buy max option to rocket lab
Changed the colour of the rocket lab secondary upgrade texts and added more info
Added a mouse over highlight of same skill types
Made level 1 slightly easier
Recenter the skill tree when you enter the screen with no skills in view
Fixes:
Reduce steamworks stat update rate
Explicite trigger for all skills unlocked achievement
Prevent freezing time during a scene transition
Alert Icons will periodically check for unlocks
Ending audio will follow volume slider
Switching scenes while in idle mode doesn't auto start a new round
Reduced garbage collection
Switched from float to double for research cost
Fixed a duplicate rocket lab production
Now 100% ing the game will be much less of a grind
