PATCH – UPDATE NOTES
Hi everyone,
In this patch, our main focus has been fixing critical bugs across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X. We've also been able to add some quality of life improvements such as ultrawide screen support and general difficulty rebalance (something highly requested by the community). This patch is now live on Steam, and should be available on consoles in the next hour.
We’ll continue monitoring the forums to make sure everything is running smoothly, and we’ll keep working on adding more content and addressing additional issues.
DLSS and FSR are currently experiencing compatibility issues. We are actively working on resolving them, and implementing both technologies remains one of our top priorities.

Gameplay & Systems
Fixed achievement tracking issues. (Please check the Known Issues section for more information regarding one of the achievements.)
Fixed Sun lever disappearing when placed in the puzzle.
Fixed custom graphics configuration not applying correctly.
Fixed Resume button not loading the latest save game.
Fixed Solari chest locations disappearing from the map when changing chapters.
Fixed doors remaining locked after loading a save.
Fixed valve interaction icon in Chapter 2 occasionally not appearing.
Fixed inability to skip the final credits.
Fixed save boolean errors on PS5.
Fixed water not initializing properly in the beach cinematic when the cutscene was skipped.
Fixed Brooch chest allowing its reward to be obtained twice.
Fixed Absorb not increasing health if reload was cancelled.
Fixed 180° freeze attack issue when using a controller.
Fixed Knife durability resetting when changing maps without loading a save.
Fixed bullets not loading correctly in certain situations.
Fixed bullets not updating correctly until exiting La Plañidera zone.
Fixed jump not being properly disabled from Chapter 1.
Fixed truck puzzle reset issue.
Fixed crow cage reward being obtainable twice.
Fixed auto-aim freezing when targeting destroyed enemies.
Fixed subtitle freeze and configuration not saving after resetting the game.
Fixed camera clipping into environment elements when the player falls.
Fixed music credits continuing to play in the main menu.
Fixed rebinding menu using outdated inputs to close.
Fixed Petreo getting stuck in certain locations.
Added camera shakes to the Final Boss.
Fixed multiple additional minor issues and stability problems.
Accessibility & UI
Added widescreen resolution support.
Added one illustration per page in the Maremanto.
Added option to deactivate High Contrast for specific groups.
Fixed High Contrast only applying after restarting the game.
Added missing High Contrast support to several game elements.
Fixed graphics settings in Quality Mode.
Fixed Frame Rate Limit functionality.
Added Frame Generation support for XeSS.
Added talker names to Memory Diary entries.
Difficulty Rebalance
General Adjustments
Overall difficulty has been rebalanced.
Astillados are now faster, attack more frequently, deal more damage, and their legs are harder to break.
Cirios and Crossbowmen now attack more frequently.
Petreo damage increased.
Dolores boss damage increased.
Some resources have been removed from the game.
Syringe healing reduced from 55 to 40 HP.
Final Boss now deals more damage and attacks more frequently.
Pistol now consumes more blood per shot.
Shotgun effective range reduced.
Difficulty Modes
- Martyr ModeEnemy damage increased from 125% to 150%.
Novice Mode: Less blood required to reload. From 75% to 50%.
Known Issues
The 30,000 Coins achievement may appear as completed in-game even if the required amount has not yet been reached. However, the achievement will continue tracking correctly in the background and will properly unlock once the player reaches the full 30,000 coins. (only PS5 and Xbox)
Achievements do not update in real time in the in-game menu. Progress will only refresh after restarting the game.
Increased boat speed in Chapter 3, but If you have the frame rate uncapped, the boat moves slower. For now, it works correctly when capped at 60 FPS.
These issues will be resolved in a future patch.
