Crisis Brigade 2 reloaded changes
If you know us from Crisis Brigade 2, you probably associate our studio with VR. And you’d be right.
We love VR, we’re deep into a new VR project, and it’s already very far along. We’re aiming for 2026.
But today, we want to show you something different.
What is HeadHunters?
HeadHunters is a chaotic platform brawler for u p to 4 players, playable online or locally on the couch.
It’s fast, physics-driven, and proudly ridiculous.
You can play as a living head, with its own unique movement, ability, and Mega.
You can steal bodies mid-match. Each body comes with its own primary and secondary attacks: melee, ranged, or something in between.
Lots of characters with strong personalities and unique mechanics.
Matches are short, explosive, and full of “ wait, what just happened? ” moments.
We play it constantly in the studio, and it still makes us laugh out loud. That’s how we know we’re onto something.
Ways to play
Local party chaos with friends
Online multiplayer
Game modes like Free-for-All, 1v1, and 2v2
A single-player mode to practice, experiment, and sharpen your skills against bots
It’s easy to pick up, hard to play seriously, and perfect for friendly rivalries.
This one is not VR
HeadHunters is a flat-screen game. A conscious decision.
The reality is that VR is going through a rough phase right now. The excitement is still there, but the market has slowed, and as an independent studio, we’ve had to adapt. Rather than stop creating, we decided to channel our energy, care, and production quality into something new… without abandoning VR.
And honestly? We’re having a blast.
Help our studio
👉 Please consider wishlisting HeadHunters on Steam.
A very polished demo is already available, and the full release is coming very soon.
Wishlists genuinely help small studios like ours more than you might think.
Thank you for being here, for supporting our work, and for sticking with us while we explore new directions.
More soon. And yes… back to VR too.
