changedAs in previous playtests, CRETE has been improved thanks to all your feedback, hundreds of live streams, thousands of players and a growing community of skilled DNA Hunters. We have seen playstyles that we could never imagine, and memorable moments when someone defeated a first Kremidi, a first Guardian, a first Hephasteus... and a first Brontes.
changedWe began this playtest with one biome and one boss; we’re ending it with two biomes, two bosses, and 41 patches. For a two‑person team, we’re pretty proud of that.
addedA heartfelt thank‑you as well to every new backer on Ko‑fi. Your support means the world to us and helps keep the project moving faster, more independently, and true to its original vision. What’s next? We plan to run two more public playtests this year, open to everyone, with no restrictions. The first will likely land in summer, the second in autumn. Potentially with a new Biome per playtest (+ Tons of other updates). We will announce a release date before the year ends. Keep an eye on Discord and our social channels for updates, or game media.
