This update introduces a new game mode — Deathmatch.
Deathmatch is a separate mode with objective-based gameplay and the ability to extract weapons and loot. Players can create a session solo. If the session has no password, other players can join within 11 minutes. After that, the session becomes unavailable for joining.
Once a match is finished, players can create a new session and rejoin Deathmatch again.
The mode features a shrinking zone. After being knocked out, respawning becomes available only after the second minute of the match, when the zone shrink begins. After the 13th minute, respawns are completely disabled so that only one last survivor remains. Players respawn inside the active zone.
At the 8th minute of the match, three extraction zones appear randomly. They remain open for 3 minutes. During this time, players can extract collected loot and found weapons (including weapons found on rooftops). Extracted loot is counted and grants rewards.
During the match, players are also chased by zombies. In future updates, looting zombies with dropped items is planned.
Victory rewards are calculated the same way as in solo mode but do not affect the overall game score. Knockdowns provide smaller rewards — the main progression and rewards remain in the standard one-life mode.
This update also adds server-side synchronization for the shrinking zone, sun, and lighting. Weapons are not reset after death — players respawn with the same weapons they purchased or extracted earlier.
The network code has been updated and adapted for Deathmatch, as respawning could previously cause stability issues.
The host cannot leave the session until all players finish the match. The only option is to force-close the game. In the future, penalties for early host exits may be introduced. For now, players are advised to pay attention to the host’s nickname if someone abuses leaving the game early.

Sincerely,
