addedHello everyone, after a few months without news, we finally come back to you.A bit of context. Due to the low sales and wishlists of the game, our cash flow did not go in the right direction and we had to redirect to some side missions in order to finish Cranked Up. We still wanted to provide the best experience possible, so going back to the development of Cranked Up, we spent a lot of time on the multiplayer as well as other new biomes. We did a lot of iterations, but the result felt too rough for the quality we were looking for and got the better of that part of the game.

Hello everyone, after a few months without news, we finally come back to you.

Where are we now? Despite our desire to share with you a game experience that we wanted to be frustrating but fair, where the only catch of the game would be its cute art direction (the famous "Cute & difficult"), we didn't succeed in finding our audience. And this, although various playtests during the development were very encouraging.

This mishap made us want to deliver what we think is a good game. Before explaining what we changed, here are some constraints we had to face...

A bit of context.

Along the way we also had to reduce the size of our team (they all found work back) but we are now down to two and the amount of work we can do is reduced.

We finally took the time to step back and came up with the following...

Let's finish the project, learn from our mistakes and bounce back.

And Cranked Up in concrete terms?

  • We have removed the different multiplayer modes.

  • There will be only two biomes, which allow you to make the most of the trial and the floor is lava modes.

  • The selling price of the game will drop.

  • The controller is facilitated, although the mode that we had imagined is still present. ( Already present in the last maj )

  • The camera brings a better readability and more dynamism.

  • The overall balance of the game is improved.

  • Most of the bugs are fixed.

  • A little optimization.

We thank all those who have followed us so far, whether they have given us feedback or not. We give you rendez-vous in the coming months for the release of Cranked Up hoping that you will like these adjustments. If you want to support us, don't hesitate to talk about the game :) Also, don't hesitate to continue to follow us so that we can share with you our future creations, hoping that you will like them and entertain you.

Thanks to you, love and sweetness <3 Steam post image
