Let's dive into the Patch Notes first:

Patch Notes - v1.0

New Characters

Wallie, the Builder

The 1st new character ready to join the Roster! The Builder is here to build incredible Machines for battle!

Wallie uses his hammer to crush enemies in an area in front of him while repairing his Machines that are hit in the process. His Hammer is the only basic attack in the game that has a healing capability in the base kit, which can be acquired at level 2.

Most of Wallie's skills place Machines in the battlefield. The amount of Machines that can be placed in combat is limited, with the limits set by each skill and not by a total number of Machines in general. The stronger the Machine, the less of it can be used. Machines will lose duration over time and can be maintained by his Basic Attack indefinitely, and levelling up his skills will apply the effects of the level to the existing Machines without need to replace them.

Placed a Machine at an undesired place or just want to cause chaos? Special Command, Demolish, will be the Builder's way of repositioning Machines out of cooldown if desired, while causing devastating damage in an area around where the Machines were.

Put your Machines to use and turn the tides of battle with numbers on your side!

Newston, the Reporter

The 2nd new character ready to join the Roster! The Reporter will use the power of information to vanquish his enemies!

Newston uses his basic attack Camera to deal damage to enemies in a cone in front of him, acquiring a Photo, which is 1 of the requirements of his Special Command, Breaking News.

The Special Command Breaking News requires 3 special Information to be activated: a Photo, a Headline and a Content. The Reporter various skills will provide him with the necessary tools to gather these Information and each of them can have 3 Tiers: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Tier quality of said information will impact the end result of Breaking News to deal more damage or gain extra effects. Lower Tiers of Information will not override higher Tiers.

Mix and matching skills will be the key to getting the best publication for Breaking News!

Newston also has a special skill to "kill himself"! I won't spoil more on this specific skill and let everyone try it out for themselves.

Bring the power of information to the battlefield!

What's Next?

This is the final update of Crafty Survivors! The 1.0! We have finally reached this point of the development after around 2 years and half, and we are very proud of being able to fully release a game with all these quirky ideas we had.

What this means is that there is no new content in store for the future. We will still provide support for Crafty Survivors to fix bugs and make necessary adjustments that we notice for the game, but for content this is all (at least for the foreseeable future). We want to move on to our next projects and work on other genres of game.

After a couple weeks from this release, we will send the content to complete the current Localizations of the game. We want to make sure the content is finalized before we send them for localization and we are able to wrap the ones we have right now. That should take a few months, as we need other people to complete localizations for languages we do not speak and these need to fit everyone's schedule. So we ask everyone for some patience with the process.

And to conclude!

Thank you everyone!

We want to thank every person who has been with us through this journey of Early Access! We would never make to this point without you all. So THANK YOU!

We will be moving to our next game, Scaling Up, which we are planning to still release this year! So if you haven't checked it out yet, there is a playable demo right now on Steam (which will receive some reworks later).
