Hoyo!

Things have been a bit quiet around here, but that's only because we've been busy!

Meditation 🧘‍♂️

Try the new meditation activity, where you can sit with Zen Master Byron and experience tranquillity. Follow along with Master Byron's guidance, and choose between two different play-styles from inside the accessibility menu, if you'd prefer a more traditional Simon Says style.

Rummage's Egg Hunt! 🐰

For a limited time, find Rummage in Stoniebridge and join his painted egg hunt! You'll notice he's wearing a bit of a different get-up, so take part and you might get yourself something cute to wear as well!

Quest Log 📝

Without a doubt, one of the most common pieces of feedback we've received from players has been for a simpler, more clear way to track quests. While quest objectives were all on the postcards, it could be easy to lose track of where you were.

So with this update, we've finally added an initial version of a unified quest log to more easily check back on your active quests, and see what work remains to be done! The postcards are still there as well, so you can still quickly check the details on specific locations as you peruse the map. Best of both worlds!

We say "initial version" as this is still pretty fresh off the presses, and will still have a few tweaks and adjustments to make. But we wanted to get it into people's hands to try out and give feedback, so the Steam release is currently the only place to use the Quest Log.

Daily Rewards! 🎁

Play each day to get daily rewards! Get items, guild tokens and even new outfits!

Every day, the Guild and residents of Harvestvale will reward the player with a little something to help them along their way. Available after completing the tutorial, the Guild will send the player Happiness, Guild Tokens, or items.

Changes and Fixes 🔧

There are too many different (and kind of boring tbh) fixes and changes to list, but here's a summary of some of the more noteworthy fixes in this build

  • Various localisation updates

  • Adjustments to NPCs to make some hats easier to find

  • Added ! indicators to NPCs with quests

  • Improvements to the tutorial sequence to give some additional guidance to new players

  • Added more autosave triggers. Saves will occur periodically while driving, after interacting with inventory, after crafting, and using the wardrobe.

  • Various environment collision fixes

  • Fixed facial animations getting stuck after exiting fishing

  • Fixed various UI interaction and scaling quirks

  • Fixed choices in the settings menu not saving
