changedIt's been a very exciting week for our dev team - we've been working hard on the demo and were very excited to see it released on Monday for Steam's Fishing Fest. We got some amazing placement in the festival and are really glad we participated!
addedWe'll continue to work on patching the bugs for this initial version of the demo, and shortly after that we'll start to add in some new exciting features! Controller and Steam Deck support, character customization, NPC quests, more fish, emotes, apparel, silly emotes and more are planned to be rolled out over the year.

It's been a very exciting week for our dev team - we've been working hard on the demo and were very excited to see it released on Monday for Steam's Fishing Fest. We got some amazing placement in the festival and are really glad we participated!

We've also been patching the game- our dev has been hard at work finding solutions to the little bugs that popped up at the last second. The demo is in good shape, we still have some bugs to fix here and there - details are below, and see our post on Weds for more patch notes.

We'll continue to work on patching the bugs for this initial version of the demo, and shortly after that we'll start to add in some new exciting features! Controller and Steam Deck support, character customization, NPC quests, more fish, emotes, apparel, silly emotes and more are planned to be rolled out over the year.

-Fish inventory shows the number of fish you have caught so far

🐝 Bugs we're aware of and working to fix

-Sometimes the camera snaps to look at nearby scenery and you lose your character, we believe this is a timeout bug, patching soon

-If you're close to an NPC on someone else's island, the keyboard controls remain active with the chatbox when typing

-If you jump on top of another cat and try to fish while standing on their head, your avatar's pose is frozen

-Sometimes the font changes to another font for random letters (pretty sure this is fixed)
