addedHello again. So I've decided to push Ep.2 forward ever so slightly in order to get the new gore system and enemy AI into Ep.1 first.
addedIt's quite a big task since it will require a lot of changes to old meshes (possibly replacing them all) but it does mean that Episode 1 will be brought up to the quality of Episode 2. The base villager mesh from Ep.1 was something I made in 2017 and it certainly shows. I think it's one of the main things holding the game back - the basic enemy AI and also the original gore/enemy system was pretty heavy on performance. This meant I was limited with how many enemies could be active at one time. It also means changing up the weapon system from Ep.1 from being projectile based to using sphere/raycasts, thankfully that's not too much work since I have the new system in place for Ep.2 already. It will also bring a performance boost, as well as more punchy/responsive weapons.

So aye, I'll be full time on the enemy/gore/AI for Ep.1 for the next couple of months. I don't have an exact time frame for this but I'm aiming for it to be done in 2 months, 3 at most.

Thank you all for the continued support and a big thank you for your patience. Solo game dev takes a long ass time and it'd be much harder without all you guys being so supportive. So again, thank you all <3
