Greeting, Stewards!

Over the past few weeks we’ve been busy finalizing the UIs for most of the game’s features. This means we can finally share more content in a polished visual form. Today’s post brings you a first sneak peek at noble houses and cultures.

Every settlement in the game has its own mayor, and each mayor belongs to a specific noble house. Choosing a leader is never just about their skills, it is also about the power and influence of their house. Favor one house too much, and it may grow corrupt. Neglect another, and you risk losing its support.

Meanwhile, cultures emerge and spread across the map as time passes. They are not static, but living forces. People adopt traditions, values, and ways of life that move between villages and towns. Some cultures flourish and attract others, while some struggle to hold their ground. Their traits shape how neighboring communities coexist. Sometimes in harmony, sometimes in conflict.

We’re excited to finally share the first glimpses of both noble houses and cultures with you. The screenshots below show how these elements are beginning to take shape in County of Fortune. Development is moving full steam ahead, and the closed beta is drawing closer every day.
