Season 3 - New Build System, New Passives, New Map, and Infinite Progression

This update introduces a complete ship build system, a new map, an infinite progression system, as well as numerous balance changes designed to enhance combat encounters.

Build your own ship

Each player can create their own build by combining:

  • 4 weapons out of 11

  • 4 passive abilities out of 16

  • 1 primary firing mode out of 5

  • the ship of their choice

  • a propulsion skin

Weapons and passives allow for a wide variety of playstyles:

  • mobility

  • damage

  • survivability

  • resource gathering

  • or hybrid builds

Hundreds of combinations are possible.

New map: METROPOLIS CITY

METROPOLIS CITY is a massive space city crossed by a network of booster highways. By using them, ships are accelerated to high speed, opening new possibilities for movement, ambushes, and combat. This mechanic changes how encounters are approached and creates a very different pace compared to other maps.

General balance changes

All game statistics have been reworked to support the new build system.

This update notably rebalances:

  • health points

  • weapon damage

  • repair abilities

  • ship speed and handling

  • global cooldowns of certain abilities

The goal is to encourage more varied combat and make many builds viable.

Infinite progression

Astronomical Ranks are being introduced. Each match grants experience that allows players to continuously increase their rank. Each level unlocks a new medal displayed next to the player’s name during matches.

Additional improvements

This update also adds:

  • killstreak audio announcer

  • new in-game event announcements

  • improved objective readability through new visual indicators

  • display of Astronomical Ranks in-game

  • improved terrain presentation at match start

  • a tutorial displayed on first launch
