With this update we are adding the new insanity system, where some actions will increase your insanity, and at a higher level you might suffer some memory loss and wake up in places you would prefer to avoid. Of course there's a way to "heal" your insanity by speaking with the "Wizard". However being insane might not be so bad, as it also increases your damage. Besides this we've decided to make the demo pace a bit faster, so some things will be available from the start. For example, you will have 3 Ability Points from the beginning, so you can buy some boosts at the Altar right away, and all types of enemies will appear in the sewers.
ADDITIONAL CONTENT
Added new insanity system
Actions like killing/butchering humans, corrupting head and making deliveries increase insanity by 1
Insanity can be cleansed by interacting with NPC Wizard
At insanity > 10, player gets 2 additional effects
Increased damage (scaling with insanity level)
Chances to pass out and wake up in the sewers (chance increased with insanity level)
Added new NPC: Wizard
IMPROVEMENTS
Demo improvements
Every type of mutant is spawning from the beginning of the game (no need to increase corruption level)
All abilities are available after first delivery (no need to increase corruption level)
Player starts on level 3 (player starts with 3 Ability Points)
Shed upgrades unlocked right away
BUG FIXES
Siren song now plays properly
Added sound cue when adding body parts to blender
José's interacting widget now displays properly
