Core Disruption changes
ATTENTION! Welcome to CORE BRIEFING for January!
We have been busy working on some new additions and improvements for Core Disruption for you, the players! For our first Core Briefing in 2022, we are excited to show you some fixes we brought to combat, matchmaking, weapons and overall experience improvements.
If you have any feedback or requests, please make them heard in the Steam Discussions and/or our Discord.
Now let’s get to the briefing.
-Combat-
This month we worked on some key improvements to combat which include hand controller support and sound changes. First passthrough newly developed hand controller support Overall sound improvements to weapons, engines, and cockpit UI In-tank and post-death menu added that supports numerous types of input devices Explosions upon death Spectator mode upon death redesigned
-Matchmaking-
Some things in matchmaking have improved and hope with feedback from the community will make it even better.
Improved UI functionality Matchmaking region selection Party invites to friends functioning Party and lobby voice chat implemented
-Vehicles-
Vehicles have also had some minor fixes in hopes to bring players the best feel when out on the battlefields. Physics improvements Hover height adjusted Speed adjustments to Talon Engine sound improvements
-Weapons-
Some minor fixes have been implemented for the in-game weapons and more will be looked into as we push forward.
Players are now able to unequip weapons from any chassis they own.
Overheat visual + audio effect
-Hangar-
The hanger has had some improvements with everything from UI improvements and being able to set your default tank. The market now lists all current weapons with 6 types (4 classes of weapons) Beam Lasers Bolters Railguns Flak Cannons Autocannons Autobolters UI improved visually and with new input features Teleport now requires input to initiate upon full Skins now implemented The loadout system lets you save a configuration for each chassis. There’s a ring around the selected tank in the hangar to let you know if you’re on a trial tank. Can set a tank to be your default tank now.
-Market-
We brought some changes to the market to hopefully help players navigate and use the market easier in-game. General UI improvements Skins are now listed as purchasable through Core Credits Market UI has new visuals and updated animations The market has a miniature cart preview
-Progression-
Some minor fixes and improvements were implemented and we hope the community will enjoy them. General UI improvements Can earn credits + XP (often resets for new builds) Added in match specific post-game stats
-Controls-
We brought some simple fixes to help with motion sickness and to toggle reticles. Optional input toggle between the master reticle and direct-input Additional options for motion sickness reduction with a vignette effect
-Bugfixes-
Quick and simple bug fixes this time around with some alignment adjustments and particle lag. Zoom Camera Alignment Particle related lag fix for autocannon
-Debriefing-
We have much more planned going forward for 2022 and hope to bring you monthly updates on everything from fixes, patches and additions to the game and community. We are very thankful for you all to join us on this journey in Core Disruption!
