Hello future City Captains,
To ensure we deliver the best experience possible, we have made an adjustment to our Closed Beta timeline. We are moving the Closed Beta launch to the second half of January 2026.
We believe in maintaining full transparency with our community, so we want to share the exact reasons behind this decision.
Why the change?
We recently received the results from our latest round of playtests. The good news is that in many areas, Copa City feels great and the gameplay loop is satisfying.
However, the results also highlighted a few key areas that unfortunately, are just not there yet.
This Beta will be your very first hands-on experience with Copa City, and we respect the golden rule of game development: you only get one chance to make a first impression.
While it hurts to delay this, we are doing so to dedicate these extra few weeks to final polishing. We simply don’t want to ruin the experience for you with rough edges that we have the power to fix right now.
What does this mean for you?
Already signed up? You are all set! ✅ Your registration is valid and you do not need to do anything else.
Haven’t signed up yet? Registration is still OPEN. ✅ If you haven't joined the list yet, now is the perfect time.
