Hey everyone! Been working non-stop these past months, and the demo of COP BASTARD has just received a big update. It’s now much closer to how the final game will look and feel.

Here’s what’s new:

  • A short tutorial to help you get into the flow faster

  • Added checkpoints. No more full restarts after every death.

  • Adjusted weapon balance — each gun should feel sharper and more distinct now.

  • Reworked AI behavior and added a bit of randomness to keep fights less predictable.

  • Refined the enemy spit mechanic — it’s nastier, but more fun to use.

  • Tweaked the menu layout and changed some of the in-game music.

  • Some post-processing effects can also be toggled off if you really need, though it’s recommended to keep them on to fully soak in that grimy late‑90s action vibe

The demo now better represents the direction of the full release. I’ve been continuously refining everything — gameplay, feel, balance — and we’re getting very close.

I’m aiming to release the full version soon. Hopefully in December, but it might slip into January 2026 if polishing takes a bit longer. Thanks for all the support and feedback — it really helps shape the game! Best regards, targim.
