Steam post image Christmas is coming, and Zakharich, as always, decided the big tree at the checkpoint absolutely must be decorated. This time, he needs blue ornaments and is more than willing to reward anyone who brings them. As an extra incentive, every ornament you turn in also counts toward your current main quest progress. On top of that, collecting 3, 10, 20, and 35 ornaments will unlock unique event rewards!

Rewards

• Log in during the event - 2024 Car Ornament.

• 3 ornaments — 2024 Dog Hat.

• 10 ornaments — 2024 Knife Skin.

• 20 ornaments — 2024 Weapon Camo.

• 35 ornaments — 2025 New Reward: Dog Hat.

FAQ

Q: If I don’t collect all rewards before January 11, will I lose them forever?

A: No. You will be able to obtain them during next year’s event.

Q: I participated last year. Do I need to unlock everything again?

A: No, your previous progress is saved. You’ll continue from where you left off.

Q. Where can I track my current event progress?

A. You can track it on the special screen above the exit of Zakharich’s shop.

Q: I unlocked a reward but can’t find it.

A: You can activate it in Settings → Cosmetics. If the option is still unavailable, re-launch the game.

Q: Where is the best place to look for ornaments?

A: Ornaments spawn randomly on all locations, just like regular loot. However, they have an increased spawn chance in the Dead City. Apartments there may contain Christmas trees, and each tree has a guaranteed ornament underneath.

Q: What does it mean that ornaments count toward main quest progress?

A: For example, if Zakharich asks you to bring him three light bulbs, he’ll happily accept ornaments instead during the event. This applies to all fetch-type main quests.

Q: I still have ornaments from last year. Can I turn them in?

A: No. Last year’s ornaments are red, while this year Zakharich specifically needs blue ones.

Q: Are the rewards the same as last year?

A: No. There is a brand-new final reward this year - a unique dog hat with reindeer antlers.
