changedI got asked about voice acting for Conviction Chronicles a long while ago and I personally haven't had a real idea if I wanted to commit to it or not. The original plan was to complete a majority of the game before considering the possibility along with a possible kickstarter to fund more expensive features like it. Since even right now the amount of dialogue the game has is a little crazy to think about, especially with planned features to increase it tenfold.
changedThe idea of that happening with Convitction Chronicles is a little horrific, and if I do go that route it would involve a massive budget I don't currently have or more risk to do any major voice work. If a VA turns out to cause controversy later on, I would not be in a good position to switch them out without nuking all of the voice work for everybody.
addedI'm still not sure if I will get voice work done for this game or not. It's leaning more towards 'no' unless things fall into place a perfect way with crowd funding near the end of development and getting the right kind of people if I choose to do so. Which I might not need to do unless I really want the chance to add it.
changedWhat I'm trying to say is don't expect there to be voice work done with this game unless I am sure it's going to be good for the game and anybody wanting to experience the game in any way.

It leads to the possibility of a bad actor much more severe after seeing what happened with certain projects when they could have avoided it all together due to how short that VAs lines ended up being.

I won't make any definite statements on if it will happen or not for a very long time, it heavily depends on how things are once the overall game is completed. VA work isn't on my mind with how much still needs to be done where the total word count is currently unknown.

I hope this answers that one person's question.
