As you may get the default ending on your first run, you may want to play through the game again to get the true ending and complete side content. To keep this second playthrough fresh, we’re introducing New Game DX , an updated version of the current New Game + feature.

Content Update

While the game is fully complete as-is, there is always room for more bonus content! We wanted to take the opportunity of an update to further flesh out the New Game + feature to allow for more replayability.

The core idea for this update comes from the 2 endings of the game. As you may get the default ending on your first run, you may want to play through the game again to get the true ending and complete side content. To keep this second playthrough fresh, we’re introducing New Game DX, an updated version of the current New Game + feature.

The main changes in New Game DX are as follows:

A new room in the cafe will be unlocked.

There is a “Fumbler machine”, where you can spend your gold to get a fumbler figure, with 70 total to collect! You may recognize these little guys…

(Fumblers will also be found hidden around the 6 main contract stages.)

Your fumblers will be displayed on the shelf in the middle.

On the right side of the room, you can find a VR headset. Here, you can play through 5 new challenge levels, one for each character! These challenge levels unlock new drinks with abilities more specialized to each character.

For example, this is the ability that Keel’s drink, “Bone Broth”, will unlock.

(Currently work in progress.)

It replaces his regular sword swings with a much heavier attack that causes enemies to drop bones on impact, allowing for more frequent use of his sub-weapons.

These character specific drinks will change how you go about playing as each character to keep your playthrough fresh!

There will of course be other minor changes to New Game DX, so there will be more to share later!

The update has no specific release date yet, but will be coming soon.

(Do note that the intro and endings of the game are unchanged in New Game DX.)
