fixedPatch 1.11 - All You Need To KnowI'm happy to announce that the first official patch for CONTASION 2 will be available for you on the 21st May 2016. What's fixed? We've listened to you and have fixed almost everything listed in just under a month. We hot-patched many bugs on the first week after the release, but now here is a permanent fix.
changedCrashing IssuesDue to CONTASION 2's Sound Engine being unsupported by DirectX, players who are running on an operating system newer than Windows 7 may experience crashes just minutes after starting the game. This is caused by the heavy use of sound effects in the game. How to fix 1) Locate the 'Contasion 2.exe' file 2) Right click 'Contasion 2.exe' and select Properties 3) Navigate to Compatibility 4) Select 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' 5) Select either Windows 7 or XP (SP3) We understand that this can be tedious but it's the quickest way to get playing.
addedContent coming after the patchWe're always adding to the City of Pliston and we're always altering instances in CONTASION 2, so you can expect more and more content to hit you very soon. We've had hundreds of requests and we'll be picking our favourites and ensuring that these are added in the Update 1.2

Players can now return to the title screen instead of having no option but to reload the game Added a marker which is shown above police officers when the player has a warrant Players can now sprint by holding the SHIFT key The sun becomes more visible at 11am Police will no longer keep shooting at the player upon his death Server updates and general improvements Minor graphical improvements Added the LDN mall Those who purchased the game before May will receive £10,000 in-game to spend on houses, garages, weapons and more. Licencing Purchasing the game activates it on one device only . However, if you can email me with the proof of purchase we'll be happy to provide you with another. We'll also be bringing you a handy tool which activates as many devices through your network - more info coming soon.
