Construction Simulator: Evolution changes
Gather around, Construction Crew!
Construction Simulator has always been about powerful machines, heavy-duty contracts, and the satisfaction of watching a construction site come together piece by piece.
Over the years, we’ve seen many of you ask for even more ways to be part of the construction site – not just in the cab, but right in the middle of the action.
That’s exactly where manual labor comes in.
In our brand-new Manual Labor Trailer, we’re giving you a closer look at this major new addition coming to Construction Simulator: Evolution, and how hands-on construction work brings you closer to the job site than ever before.
Watch the trailer right here:
For the first time in the series, you’ll be able to step out of the machine and take part in construction work directly. From using hand tools to completing small-scale jobs on site, manual labor adds a new layer of interaction, immersion, and variety to your day-to-day work.
So grab your tools, put on your workwear, and get ready to take construction into your own hands.
More Than Machines
Of course, heavy machinery is still at the heart of Construction Simulator: Evolution. You’ll operate a massive fleet of officially licensed machines, take on large-scale projects, and move tons of material across busy construction sites.
But some jobs need a more personal touch.
With manual labor, you can now step out of the cab and take care of tasks yourself. Whether you’re preparing materials, working on surfaces, or using tools directly on site, these new activities make the construction site feel more alive and give you more ways to contribute to each project.
It’s not just about operating the biggest machine anymore. Sometimes, it’s about grabbing the right tool and getting the job done by hand.
Brick by Brick, Wall by Wall
Manual labor introduces new construction activities that let you take part in the smaller but essential steps of a job site.
You’ll be able to build walls, plaster surfaces, and saw materials as part of dedicated hands-on tasks. These minigames are designed to make your work feel more direct and interactive while still fitting naturally into the larger construction process.
Place mortar, set bricks, smooth plaster, cut boards, and complete the steps that turn raw materials into real progress.
Every construction site is built from many smaller jobs, and in Construction Simulator: Evolution, you’ll finally be right there for more of them.
Which hands-on task do you wanna try first: building, sawing, or plastering? 🪚
The Right Tool for the Job
Manual labor also brings a wide selection of tools to the construction site.
You’ll be able to use equipment such as jackhammers, nail guns, shovels, rakes, trowels, table saws, vibratory plates, rollers, rammers, and more. Some tools are used for construction work, others help prepare surfaces, spread materials, or deal with demolition tasks up close.
Need to break something apart? Bring out the jackhammer.
Need to prepare ground or compact material? Time for the vibratory plate, rollers, or rammer.
Need to spread fresh concrete or asphalt? Grab the right rake and get to work.
Together with the large-scale machinery you know and love, these tools help create a more varied and hands-on construction site experience.
And be honest: who’s going straight for the jackhammer? đź¤
Licensed Equipment on Site
Construction Simulator: Evolution continues the series’ tradition of working with well-known manufacturers from the real construction world.
Alongside the huge vehicle fleet, manual labor and compact equipment also benefit from licensed models and authentic tools from brands such as Wacker Neuson and Ammann.
From large machines to smaller site equipment, our goal is to make every part of the construction site feel believable, varied, and satisfying to use.
Demolish to Reshape the Future
Manual labor also fits directly into one of the biggest new features of Construction Simulator: Evolution – demolition.
For the first time in the franchise, you’ll not only build new structures, but also help clear the way for future projects. While heavy machinery and hydraulic hammers take care of the big destruction work, manual tools like the jackhammer allow you to get hands-on with demolition tasks as well.
This adds a new flow to every job site: prepare the area, operate your machines, handle manual tasks, finish the details, and move on to the next stage of the project.
It’s a more connected construction experience, where every task matters.
A More Immersive Construction Site
With manual labor, Construction Simulator: Evolution gives you more freedom in how you experience the job site.
You’ll still operate excavators, wheel loaders, cranes, dump trucks, asphalt machines, and many more powerful vehicles. But now, you’ll also be able to leave the cab behind and become more directly involved in the work happening around you.
Whether you’re building, cutting, plastering, compacting, spreading, digging, or demolishing, manual labor adds more variety and makes every construction site feel more active.
Manual labor is a big new step for Construction Simulator, and we can’t wait to hear what you think about it. 🫶
