changedOne of the best features of Company of Heroes has always been the game’s community. A lot of games claim to have the world’s best fans, but ours are pretty amazing and have proven it once again. When Company of Heroes 2 launched without Leaderboards a lot of fans were understandably disappointed. While we continue to work towards providing Steam Leaderboards, the fans over at COH2.ORG took the opportunity to build their own. Working with a small group from Relic the COH2.ORG team took the Company of Heroes 2 server data that we provided and built out a fully functional set of Leaderboards that highlight the top 200 players for both the Russian and German factions. COH2.ORG Founder Jason ‘AmiPolizeiFunk’ Ditmars explained, “The dev team at COH2.ORG, including OnkelSam, Inverse, hicksi, janx, Seb, pingtoft and myself, leapt at the opportunity to deliver multi-player Ladders to the Company of Heroes 2 community. We hope that our designs and code live up to the high standards established by the game and its enthusiasts. We endeavor to work closely with Relic to expand the functionality of the system, and to deliver the features that fans want.” For those of you who like me aren’t about to make it into the top 200 player list anytime soon they also added the ability to search for specific players and check out their stats. We thank the fans at COH2.ORG for their help in setting up their Leaderboards, and recommend that everyone check them out. Relic will continue to work towards providing the community with Steam Leaderboards as quickly as we can.
