Faster Server Requests + Steam Inventory Sync | v3.0.00
Hey everyone!
This update focuses on improving the backend structure behind Community Button’s Steam Inventory systems.
The goal is simple: make server activity lighter weight while keeping the same core functionality players already expect.
What Changed?
Community Button uses a lot of server-authoritative systems behind the scenes, including pets, eggs, shards, boosts, catalysts, Steam Inventory syncing, daily progress, and more.
With v3.0.00, I’ve started restructuring how some Steam Inventory communication is handled so the game can reduce unnecessary heavy server work during normal gameplay.
This should help create a cleaner and more scalable foundation moving forward.
Why This Matters
A lighter server flow gives Community Button more room to grow.
This kind of structure helps support future multiplayer-focused ideas such as:
Guilds / clans
Multiplayer events
Community boss raids
Larger shared systems
More live server-powered features
Nothing is confirmed yet, but this update is part of building the foundation for bigger possibilities.
Steam Inventory Sync
Steam Inventory can now be synced to the game at any time.
You can find this option in-game under:
Settings → Preferences → Sync Steam Inventory
This gives players more control while letting normal server requests stay faster and lighter.
Final Notes
The goal is to keep the game feeling smooth, stable, and responsive while preparing Community Button for more ambitious systems over time.
Thanks for playing, testing, reporting issues, and helping shape the future of the game.
