Commandos: Origins – Update 1.2
Commandos!
We've just released Update 1.2 for Steam and all available platforms, which includes many more fixes for reported mission-specific issues, gameplay issues and crashes. Update 1.2 for Commandos: Origins also contains some implemented feedback, like a new hotkey to select all Commandos and the option to turn off white movement lines for movement commands.
Update 1.2 for PlayStation 5 will follow as soon as possible, please stay tuned.

1) Additions/Adjustments
- AddedNew Path Visualization setting – This setting allows you to turn off the white movement lines that appear after giving a movement command.
- AddedAchievements - New icons in Mission Selection Screen displaying if each mission was successfully finished by meeting the “Knock them out with kindness” and “No stone left unkilled” requirements. The tooltip also mentions that these requirements can only be met on Soldier and Veteran difficulty.
- AddedNew Hotkey to select all Commandos which is customizable in the settings.
2) Crash Fixes
Fixed: A random crash when moving 4 Commandos into a hiding location.
Fixed: A random crash when killing an enemy.
Fixed: A random crash when performing a melee attack.
Fixed: A random crash when an enemy is searching for his missing conversation partner.
Fixed: Crash – A crash in multiplayer in Operation Nightfall for the joining player when the host sabotages the water supply.
Fixed: Crashes – 20 further rare cases of crashes reported by players.
3) Mission-Specific Fixes
Fixed: Operation Daybreak (Mission 1) – Optional objective of rescuing British soldiers sometimes displaying 5/3 instead of 3/3 upon completion.
Fixed: Operation Falchion (Mission 2) – White noise sound effect of radio equipment in barracks not disappearing when transmitter gets turned off.
Fixed: Operation Nightfall (Mission 3) – Optional objectives “Sabotage the vehicles fleet” and “sabotage the MG nests” showing 1/2 instead of 2/2 upon completion.
Fixed: Operation Nightfall (Mission 3) – Optional objective “Sabotage the MG nests” only highlighting one of the two MGs.
Fixed: Operation Cleaver (Mission 4) – Half of the danger zone on the bridge not getting displayed anymore when double-clicking the blow up bridge objective.
Fixed: Operation Rapture (Mission 5) – Objective marker for turning off the lighthouse being misplayed underneath the lighthouse instead of in the lighthouse where the Commando should interact.
Fixed: Operation Blindfold (Mission 6) – Cleared up the task structure to make clear that you need to destroy both radar stations OR 3 FLAKs in order to proceed with the mission.
Fixed: Operation Blindfold (Mission 6) – Sometimes getting stuck after exiting truck.
Fixed: Operation Blindfold (Mission 6) – Unable to use shovel in an area where it should be possible.
Fixed: Operation Blindfold (Mission 6) – Enemy clerk sometimes facing the wrong direction, making one of the puzzles a little easier than intended.
Fixed: Operation Blindfold (Mission 6) – Some textures not loading correctly in the airstrike cutscene.
Fixed: Operation Blindfold (Mission 6) – A specific MG crew member reacting inconsistently to the same lure.
Fixed: Operation Magpie (Mission 7) – Edge case where Driver was unable to leave MG after interacting with it.
Fixed: Operation Trident (Mission 8) – The objective marker for cut communications sometimes missing after loading a save game.
